Are you interested in taking youth mentoring to the next level? Want to improve mentoring relationships for young people? Join our webinar as Dr. Bernadine Brady and Prof. Patrick Dolan share their perspectives and research findings to rethink and change how we view mentor-mentee relationships in youth mentoring.

Quality relationships characterized by warmth are at the heart of youth mentoring purposes and processes. Research has shown that young people tend to have better coping and outcomes where they perceive that their mentor shares similar interests, is authentic, trustworthy, honest, shows empathy, and is ‘there for me’. In this webinar, we draw on a range of theoretical perspectives and our research findings to reflect on mentor-mentee relationships with a view to better understanding their core components and revaluing the basics of youth mentoring.
